Dr. Ingle is a professional trumpeter and an Edwards Trumpet Performing Artist. His performances over the last 20 years as a soloist (classical and jazz), orchestral and chamber player have taken place in Sweden (Stockholm, Sundsvall, Alno), Australia (Sydney), China (Shanghai and Beijing), Armenia (Yerevan), Brazil (Santa Maria, Juiz de Fora, Curitiba, Vale Veneto), Canada (Winnipeg, Banff, Montreal), and throughout the United States. He continues to appear as Resident Guest Artist and on Distinguished Artist Series' at numerous universities and institutions throughout the United States. Dr. Ingle has served as an adjudicator for the National Trumpet Competition, and has judged at numerous state, organization, and orchestra-sponsored competitions. His students have consistently earned prestigious awards and honors as classical and jazz performers, and have been accepted to graduate schools at the most highly acclaimed music conservatories and institutions throughout the United States. His students have performed in the live round of the National Trumpet Competition four times, and have also performed at the International Trumpet Guild Conferences in Sydney, Australia; Anaheim, California; and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Ingle’s current project, "What is Truth: A Brass and Multimedia Concert," explores the question of truth within a post-truth culture in a musically narrative setting, with recent performances at the University of North Texas (Denton), Belmont University (Nashville), and Texas A&M University (Commerce). His recent publication and recording through Carl Fischer Music entitled The Dauverné Solo Collection for Trumpet and Piano is available worldwide.
