Jon Linley, trumpet specialist for the Edwards Instrument Corporation, visited UND in April to meet with students about the Edwards trumpet line, conduct a masterclass about trumpet manufacturing, conduct individual lessons about personalized fitting, and lecture in my trumpet literature class. We had an outstanding and productive time with Jon, who was very knowledgeable, personable, and most importantly patient with our questions! I am very proud to be an Edwards Trumpet Performing Artist, and know intimately how superior the instrument is and how much easier it is to play in comparison to other high end trumpets.
