Wanted to post a follow-up about my wonderful graduating trumpet students who have all now officially made their decisions for graduate school! Gilson Luis (MM in Trumpet Performance) will be attending the University of Wisconsin Madison to pursue his DMA in Trumpet Performance Degree with a full GTA position to perform with the Faculty Brass Quintet. Christiena Taralson (BM in Trumpet Performance) has accepted a scholarship to attend Michigan State University for her MM in Trumpet Performance degree with Justin Emerich. Michael Morrissey BM in Trumpet Performance) has accepted a GTA position at Oklahoma State University to pursue a MM in Trumpet Performance degree. So happy for the decisions they have made, extremely proud of their accomplishments, and excited to follow their successes at these schools and beyond!
