It was an honor to be asked to deliver a masterclass for the trumpet studio at Universidad Federal de Santa Maria, Brazil on May 21, 2019. We talked about a range of subjects, from proper practicing procedures to choosing literature and specifics on breathing and alignment. Thanks to my former student, Dr. Clayton Miranda for setting this up!  I look forward to seeing many of the students in July at the Festival Inverno de Vale Veneto.
